Resource Caregiver Trainings
Attend a training
Pre-Service and ongoing training's for all child-specific and general licensed resource caregiver homes is facilitated through a Purchase of Service (POS) CWS contracted provider, Catholic Charities Hawaii (CCH). As the needs of children in foster care change, different training options are made available to all resource caregivers. CWS works with the contracted provider to offer a variety of training options, including online trainings that are more convenient for resource caregivers to access that fit their schedules. Additionally, to prepare and equip resource caregivers to adequately care for children in foster care, evidence-based trauma and healing informed care continues to be the foundation on which trainings are developed.

Unfortunately, our Hawaii Foster Care Connection application is currently unavailable due to technical issues. We will provide an update once mobile application is available through Apple and Google Play.
